This Person Looks Like That Person #14: The TAYLOR SWIFT Edition.

Posted: February 11, 2013 in Comedy

Gather round kids, because I’m here to predict a possible future for your hero Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift.

This Person Looks Like That Person, for lack of a better name, is a column I did sporadically in other corners of the internet.  Haven’t done it in a long time but I had no choice but to resurrect it, because this kid is everywhere and every time I see her, I think the same damn thing…

Taylor Swift = Christine Baranski minus a few years, also minus acting lessons.

Swift + Baranski

Swift + Baranski 3

Swift + Baranski 2

By way of introduction:

Taylor Swift is one of the most lucrative names in popular music right now, for whatever reason.

Christine Baranski is a huge name in the theater world, and she’s currently starring on the TV show The Good Wife on CBS. She has been in TV and movies for a couple decades now, appearing in movies like THE REF, THE BIRDCAGE, BULWORTH, BOWFINGER, and CHICAGO, among many others.  She is a character actress who often plays urbane and over-privileged.  Her characters can be a pain in the ass, but she plays them with knowingness and a wry sense of humor.  We can only hope Taylor Swift adds the latter to her act one day.  Either way, they look pretty much the same.

I know it can be frustrating, but sometimes there’s nothing to do except agree with me.

Here are the previous installments of This Person Looks Like That Person:

#6-13

And I do this kind of crap all the time on Twitter:
