It’s October, which means it’s high time for me to start spotlighting all of the fun Halloween-related videos and movies that you can enjoy. Start with this short film directed by Greg Nicotero, one of the most prominent special-make-up-effects artists in the modern film industry, whose upcoming project is the zombie make-up for AMC’s The Walking Dead. (Premiering on Halloween night!)
This short imagines a Hollywood talent agency specifically catering to the monster needs of motion pictures, and features appearances from The Wolfman, The Thing From Another World (1950s and 1980s versions), and the shark from Jaws, among many others. If only for the recreation of the classic Gill Man from Creature From The Black Lagoon, this is one of my favorite sights all month.
